Cos for Boys

My son is going to be 10 soon, and I find it difficult to find nice clothes for him.
Everything is so 'in your face' with slogans and graphics.
And a lot of  the other kids at school are wearing designer brand jackets and bags (which I think is totally stupid but obviously the parents are trying to make some kind of statement).

So when I was perusing the latest womenswear collection over at Cos,  I thought I'd have a look at the Boys section.
And I was delighted - so many great basics with simple designs.
I loved  the jackets, the t-shirts, the tops.
Perfect I thought, I'll be making some purchases.
Exactly the kind of clothing I want for my Boy.
The catch?
Yip, they only go up to age 8.
Boo to that.
C'mon Cos make some bigger sizes - please! x

  1. They look great, I agree alwayss hard to find things, my 9 year old is very small so would probably fit him but 11 year old is really tricky, problem with the two of them is they are not fussed what it looks like as long as it is comfy, no stratchy labels or seams!! x

  5. Oh, that's so sad they don't make any bigger sizes because these are super cool! By the way, does your Boy still let you choose his clothes? I'm so "scared", that at some point our son decides he wants to choose his clothes all by himself and goes for the type of stuff you described (slogans, cartoon characters and so on).. Okay I know he's just 2 years old now and it's a bit early to worry about these things but I can't help it.:)

  7. These are lovely! I find that in general it is harder to find nice things for boys than for girls. I'm not a fan of slogan/tv character clothes but The Boy is always drawn to those when we're at the shops. I compromise by letting him have Lightning McQueen and Spiderman pj's and flannels :-) Nothing he can actually leave the house in of course ;-) x

  8. Agreed, their stuff is very lovely, and cool too. My boy only wears things with a tractor/dinosaur/car on it - I'm hoping his tastes improve as he gets older!
