The Little Things
Just a few snaps I took in my bedroom this morning.
It's the little things that I like.
Those punches of colour and pattern.
In the sunshine they were so vivid and made me smile so very much.
I'm currently creating a little desk area in this room, somewhere to write at, to create at.
I can't wait to have a space of my own.
Have a good day all. x

Love the little circle string thing! Very bright a cheery! I can imagine this in my kitchen. Did you make it yourself?
ReplyDeleteHi Franki! Thanks for your lovely comment. I didn't make it, but it's by Engel. You can see it here:

Hi Jen! I came by from Ikea's Facebook page and I was drawn by just how pretty your site is! I lived for 2 years in the UK years ago and am thrilled that you are from there. Made a trip up to Glasgow once and loved the city. Pity it was too short a trip (and maybe too cold for a girl from the tropics!). Love the snapshots of your pretty home and your Pinterest picks in the earlier post!
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much for your lovely comment. Glad you like Glasgow - it's not always cold but usually raining! x
DeleteGreat cushion. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely lamp, great colour!

ReplyDeletesunshine on a Monday morning is a tonic (otherwise I wouldn't have got out of my cosy bed to drive to work!)
ReplyDeleteLove that colourful garland!! Just like Franki, I'd love to know whether you made it yourself and if so where you got the beautiful patterned papers from, already thinking of the things I could make with them!!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week!
Hi Amelie! It's actually a garland by Engel - called Paper Confetti. You can see it here:

Unfortunately I got mine all tangled up and couldn't unknot it! So I had to cut and restick the pieces together. But it still looks pretty. I'm very lucky that I won it in a giveaway. x
Thank you so much for the link, that website is a little goldmine!!
DeleteI especially love your yellow anglepoise lamp, Jen, it's gorgeous. x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous things Jen ... I would definitely be smiling too ... I love the print in the first paper ... can I ask where it's from ... it is gift wrap? ... I hope you don't mind my asking ... Bee xx
ReplyDeleteHi Bee, thanks lovely! It is giftwrap, it's called Tablecloth and is a design by Alexander Girard. I bought it from Lagom:
